How to Participate

The WSF offers something for everyone. Whether you are an athlete or spectator or want to be contribute to make the event a success, you are in the right place. If you belong to a sports league in West Hollywood you can register to play in the sports festival. If you want to cheer on your friends, sign up for free entrance to the event. Event Registration

One simple step. That’s all it takes to sign up and participate in the WeHo Sports Festival.


Each of the individual sports leagues will take on the task of registering each player and team for the Festival.

Schedule of Events

Friday, Sept. 2

We welcome all WeHo Sports Festival athletes from Day 1 with a grand, opening day Registration Party at the Andaz West Hollywood from 5:00 PM — 10:00 PM. As participants come pick up their badges and t-shirts, each can hang out at a specially designated venue. Have a drink and make new friends, then get ready to play!

 

 

 

 

Saturday, Sept. 3

Let the games begin! The WeHo Sports Festival kicks off on Saturday with a full schedule of activities. The UCLA venue hours will be 7:00 PM - 7:00 PM. After playing comes socializing and we have a large selection of local bars, restaurants and lounges that are offering WSF participants special discounts. Show your badge then show your dance moves!

 

 

 

 

Sunday, Sept. 4

Day 2 of competition continues on Sunday. By sundown we’ll be celebrating Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal winners in every sport. Then comes the real fun. We wrap up the WeHo Sports Festival with an exclusive Closing Party held at the well-known hot spot, The Abbey, in West Hollywood.

Athlete Registration

If you are playing in a sport for the WSF, we will have an Athlete registration form for you to complete to fast track your way through event registration and get your goodie bag and access badge. Check back for the link coming soon.

 

 

 

 

Guest / Spectator Registration

Not playing in a sport? Want to cheer on your favorite athletes? A Participant form will fast track you through registration to get your access wristband for UCLA to watch the games. Check back for the link coming soon.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Enjoy a night on the town in West Hollywood! After a full day of sports comes a night of fun and games. The city of West Hollywood offers a wide variety of bars, restaurants and lounges to mingle with your teammates or make new friends.

Relax indoors with music, big screen TVs, karaoke, games, light food and snacks, along with Coke products and the open bar. Pre-register of access.

Opening Ceremony

WE WELCOME ALL FESTIVAL ATHLETES WITH THE OPENING DAY Visit WeHo Kick-off Party!

Our host — the Mondrian Hotel’s famous Skybar! All athletes and spectators are welcome to join the party! Chill around the pool at the outdoor, rooftop bar and enjoy the beautiful summer night. At the mix-and-mingle event participants can check in, pick up their festival passes and swag bags, and relax and enjoy the evening views. Or enjoy a meal at the Ivory restaurant next door at the Grafton Hotel, a short walk away, without having to leave the party.



The Opening Ceremony event is sponsored by the Visit West Hollywood tourism office.

Closing Ceremony

After COMPETITION CONCLUDES and All of the WSF GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE MEDAL WINNERS ARE CROWNED, THEN IT is TIME TO PARTY!

WE WRAP UP THE WEHO SPORTS FESTIVAL WITH AN EXCLUSIVE CLOSING CEREMONY PARTY HELD AT La Boheme. This unique space, transformed into a night time evening party, will host our private WSF event. Festival pass holders can enter via a red carpet for free. VIPs will enjoy fast entrance and access to the upper balcony and a dedicated bar. Enjoy American-Mediterranean fare served in a romantic, dramatic setting with a large fireplace and a patio.

 

 

La Boheme is conveniently located on Santa Monica Blvd., at a WeHo pick up stop. Leave your car with the valet, or pass holders can use their complimentary UBER drop-off to get to the venue. Non pass holders can enjoy the space by purchasing a ticket on our website. What a way to end the weekend!

 

 

 

 


Transportation

 

 

SHUTTLE SERVICES

Hate to drive? We do too. Take the FREE Shuttle Bus instead!


Service is from @wehocity to UCLA on Saturday and Sunday. Buses will p/u from the King’s Road parking ($6 for all day) at the WeHo Pick-up stop in front of Hugo’s restaurant, and the WSF hotel @RamadaWeHo hotel at the WeHo Pickup stop by Wells Fargo.
